Terms of Service
Last updated 23 September 2026 · effective on legal sign-off
1. The service
TraceCal 360 provides a hosted, multi-tenant calibration-lifecycle management service — instrument registers, recalls, gate passes, certificates, dispositions, out-of-tolerance assessments, and the audit trail that ties them together. These terms govern your organisation’s use of it. By creating a workspace you agree to them on behalf of your organisation.
2. Free trial
A new workspace begins on a 15-day free trial with the full Growth feature set, up to 100 instruments and unlimited users, no card required. Printed documents carry a TRIAL watermark until you convert to a paid plan, at which point the watermark lifts and your data and subdomain continue unchanged.
3. Subscription, billing and lapse
Paid plans are priced per instrument, billed in advance for the term you select. Subscriptions renew for successive terms unless cancelled before renewal. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never pass through us.
If a trial or subscription is not converted or renewed, the workspace lapses gracefully rather than vanishing: it becomes read-only when the term ends, export-only fifteen days later, and closes on day forty-five, with a notice at each step. Data is purged on day sixty. Paying at any point before the purge restores full access to the same data and address. A full export remains available for 90 days after termination.
4. Your data and ours
Your organisation retains all rights to the data you enter — instruments, calibration records, certificates and documents. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, back up and display that data to operate the service. We claim no ownership of it. Our handling of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy. The software, its design and its documentation remain our intellectual property.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to breach tenant isolation or access another organisation’s data, no probing or attacking the platform outside a channel we authorise, no reselling or sharing access beyond your organisation, and no uploading of malware or unlawful content. Automated access must stay within the published rate limits. We may suspend a workspace that puts the platform or other customers at risk, with notice where circumstances allow.
6. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available and to give timely notice of planned maintenance, but the service is provided on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis and is not warranted to be uninterrupted or error-free. Any specific availability commitment applies only where it is stated in a separate written agreement with your organisation.
7. Disclaimer and liability
TraceCal 360 is a record-keeping and workflow tool; it does not replace your organisation’s own quality judgement, accredited calibration, or regulatory obligations. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”, and our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
8. Termination
You may cancel at any time; your access continues to the end of the paid term and then follows the lapse lifecycle in clause 3. We may terminate for material breach of these terms that is not remedied after notice. On termination your export rights in clause 3 still apply.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in advance, and continued use after they take effect is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at our registered place of business have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a separate signed agreement provides otherwise.
